Elberon Station: Rehabilitation Project – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, the Eastbound platform to New York/Newark and the Westbound staircase at Elberon Station are closed due to station rehabilitation.

 Platforms:

  • Track 2, the west end of the Eastbound platform to New York/Newark, will be closed due to repairs.
  • Trains will remain accessible via open areas on the platforms. Customers will need to enter or exit the station at an alternate location.
  • NOTE: ADA-accessible ramps are available to customers on the east end of the platform.

Stairs:

  • Effective immediately, the staircase on the Westbound platform allowing for tunnel access will be closed due to repair. Customers may use the alternate staircase, located next to the closed staircase, for access to the Eastbound platform.

Note: During this time, access to the station house will be limited as the project is being completed.

Please allow for extra travel time, and for your safety, obey posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas.

We thank you for your patience as we continue to expand and enhance Elberon Station.
