Your car-free, environmentally friendly trip doesn't have to start or end with NJ TRANSIT. We offer connections with numerous other transportation providers at major and minor locations across New Jersey, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Amtrak
Amtrak provides rail service along the Northeast Corridor (Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and intermediate points), as well as national long-distance rail service. NJ TRANSIT customers can connect to Amtrak at Newark, Trenton, Metropark, New York and Philadelphia 30th Street stations. For schedules and fares, visit Amtrak's homepage or call 1-800-USA-RAIL.
BurLink
BurLink operates shuttle bus service in Burlington County from several stations along the River LINE. For information, call BurLink at 609-883-8891.
Greyhound
Greyhound provides intercity bus service to 2,400 locations in North America. NJ TRANSIT customers can connect to Greyhound at Port Authority Bus Terminal (NYC), Newark Penn Station, Philadelphia's Greyhound Bus Terminal, or Atlantic City.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA)
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority operates New York City Transit (subway and bus), Metro-North Rail Road, Long Island Rail Road and other services in New York. NJ TRANSIT customers can connect to MTA services at New York Penn Station, Port Authority Bus Terminal, George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal, 34th Street Station (HBLR), or at Franklin Street, City Hall, and Bowling Green subway stations, in Downtown Manhattan, along the 120 bus line.
NY Waterway
NY Waterway provides trans-Hudson ferry service with connections available at Hoboken Terminal, Port Imperial, Exchange Place, Pavonia-Newport and other locations along the Hudson waterfront. Each of these listed ferry terminals has a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail station close-by. For information on NY Waterway, call 1-800-53-FERRY.
PATCO
PATCO provides rail service between Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. NJ TRANSIT rail customers can connect to PATCO at the Walter Rand Transportation Center (Camden) or Lindenwold. NJ TRANSIT bus customers in New Jersey can connect to any PATCO station except the Woodcrest and Ashland PATCO stations. NJ TRANSIT bus customers in Philadelphia can connect to the 8th and Market Street PATCO station.
PATH
PATH trains provide frequent service 24-hours a day between Newark, Harrison, Jersey City, Hoboken and New York. NJ TRANSIT rail customers can connect to PATH at Newark Penn Station or Hoboken Terminal. NJ TRANSIT bus customers can connect to any PATH station in New Jersey.
Seastreak
Seastreak ferry service connects Monmouth County's Sandy Hook Bay communities with Downtown and Midtown Manhattan. Our 834 bus line has stops within walking distance of the ferry terminals in Highlands and Atlantic Highlands.
SEPTA
SEPTA provides transit service in Philadelphia and Southeast Pennsylvania. NJ TRANSIT customers can connect to SEPTA service at Trenton Transit Center or Philadelphia 30th Street Station. Customers along the 608 bus line can connect with the SEPTA West Trenton station.
