UITP Regional Training Center

NJ TRANSIT, the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), and Rutgers Center for Advanced Infrastructure & Transportation (CAIT) have announced the launch of UITP’s North American Regional Training Center (NARTC).

This center, UITP’s first in North America, brings bring world-class transportation training to the region and the continent, helping to develop the next wave of leaders in the transit space.

Courses will be held at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in the heart of the Northeast Corridor, and an easy train ride away from New York City.

• Public Transport Fundamentals – 3/26-28
• Public Transport Fundamentals – 6/12-14
• Diploma Programme for Managers in Public Transport (3 Modules) – 6/24-26
• Bus Operation Excellence – 6/18-20
• Rail Operation & Maintenance – 10/9-11
• Resiliency & Emergency Preparedness for Rail and Bus – 10/14-16

The NARTC will serve as the North American hub for UITP-led training and instruction courses, similar to those found here.
