Effective Monday, April 7, through Friday, April 18, Raritan Valley Line trains will operate on a modified weekday schedule due to Amtrak catenary work.

NOTE: Customers who usually travel on midday or evening RVL trains from New York and Secaucus stations to Newark Penn Station and stations beyond Newark should note that all RVL trains will originate at Newark Penn Station during this period. Connecting trains from Penn Station New York and Secaucus will depart EARLIER than regular Raritan Valley Line trains. Please arrive early at New York or Secaucus stations to ensure you can meet your connection at Newark Penn Station.
Affected Eastbound (To Newark/New York) Trains:
Train 5718, which currently departs at 6:41AM from High Bridge, will now depart at 6:54AM, making all stops approximately 13 minutes later.
Train 5420, the current 7:19AM departure from Raritan, will not operate. Customers can take train 5718, departing Raritan at 7:24AM, or Train 5422 departing Raritan at 7:39AM.
Train 5902, the current 8:33AM departure from Plainfield, will not operate. Customers can take train 5422, departing Plainfield at 8:01AM, or Train 5126, departing Plainfield at 9:05AM.
Train 5126, the 8:43AM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 9:46AM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3934, departing Newark Penn Station at 9:53AM, arriving at Secaucus at 10AM, and Penn Station New York at 10:13AM.
Train 5170, the 9:21AM departure from High Bridge, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 10:50AM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3236, departing Newark Penn Station at 11:12AM, arriving at Secaucus at 11:20AM, and Penn Station New York at 11:34AM.
Train 5132, the 10:46AM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 11:47AM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3838, departing Newark Penn Station at 11:55AM, arriving at Secaucus at 12:02PM, and Penn Station New York at 12:17PM.
Train 5134, the 11:46AM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 12:47PM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3842, departing Newark Penn Station at 1:01PM, arriving at Secaucus at 1:09PM, and Penn Station New York at 1:22PM.
Train 5176, the 12:19PM departure from High Bridge, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 1:49PM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3846, departing Newark Penn Station at 1:59PM, arriving at Secaucus at 2:07PM, and Penn Station New York at 2:22PM.
New Train 5446 will depart Raritan at 4:59PM and make all stops to Newark Penn Station, arriving at 5:59PM.
Train 5746, the current 4:55PM departure from High Bridge, will now depart at 5:20PM, making all stops approximately 25 minutes later.
Train 5448, the current 5:52PM departure from Raritan, will not operate. Customers can take train 5746, departing Raritan at 5:48PM, or Train 5150, departing Raritan at 6:49PM.
Train 5150, the 6:49PM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 7:51PM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3872, departing Newark Penn Station at 7:59PM, arriving at Secaucus at 8:06PM, and Penn Station New York at 8:19PM.
Train 5152, the 7:56PM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 8:55PM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3876, departing Newark Penn Station at 9:08PM, arriving at Secaucus at 9:15PM, and Penn Station New York at 9:28PM.
Train 5154, the 8:47PM departure from Raritan, will terminate at Newark Penn Station at 9:47PM. Customers traveling beyond Newark should take Train 3984, departing Newark Penn Station at 10:14PM, arriving at Secaucus at 10:21PM, and Penn Station New York at 10:34PM.
Affected Westbound (From Newark/New York) Trains:
Train 5121, the 10:40AM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 11AM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3835 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 10:33AM and Secaucus at 10:43AM (6 to 7 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5123, the 11:40AM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 12PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3239 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 11:23AM, and Secaucus at 11:33AM (16 to 17 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5175, the 12:45PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 1:02PM. Customers traveling from New York should take Train 3843 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 12:35PM (10 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5127, the 1:40PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 2PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3847 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 1:32PM and Secaucus at 1:41PM (8 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5179, the 2:40PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 3:01PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3719 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 2:27PM and Secaucus at 2:37PM (12 to 13 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5439, the current 5:44PM departure from Newark Penn Station, will not operate. Customers can take Train 5737, departing at 5:35PM from Newark Penn Station, or Train 5441 departing at 6:05PM from Newark Penn Station. Train 5737 will stop only at Westfield and then all stations from Plainfield west.
Train 5193, the 8:48PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 9:08PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3285 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 8:41PM and Secaucus at 8:51PM (6 to 7 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5155, the 9:48PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 10:08PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3289 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 9:38PM and Secaucus at 9:48PM (9 to 10 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
Train 5197, the 10:48PM departure from Penn Station New York, will originate from Newark Penn Station at 11:08PM. Customers traveling from New York or Secaucus should take Train 3893 to Newark Penn Station, departing Penn Station New York at 10:38PM and Secaucus at 10:47PM (10 minutes earlier than the usual RVL train).
