Perth Amboy Station

On Saturday, May 3, from approximately 6:30AM until approximately 6:30PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains will be subject to delays of up to 15 minutes due to bridge maintenance in Red Bank.

  • Eastbound: Trains may be delayed from Red Bank to New York.

  • Westbound: Trains may be delayed from Hazlet to Long Branch. Connecting shuttle trains traveling from Long Branch to Bay Head may also be subject to delays.

Perth Amboy Station

Effective Monday, April 7, the east end of the Track 2 platform (to Newark/New York) will be open for high-level boarding while NJ TRANSIT continues work on the Perth Amboy Station reconstruction project. 

NOTE: The east end of the Track 1 platform (to Long Branch/Bay Head) at Perth Amboy Station continues to be inaccessible due to new platform construction. Customers should board trains in open platform areas and obey all posted signs.

LIMITED PARKING OPTIONS: A portion of the commuter parking lot located adjacent to Market Street continues to be temporarily closed. Customers may use other available parking spaces in the lot. 

For your safety, please obey all posted signs, and do not travel through barricaded areas. Please listen for crew announcements as some train doors may not open during construction.

Delays of up to 25 minutes possible

 

On the following weekends in April, each day from approximately 7AM until approximately 7PM, North Jersey Coast Line trains traveling westbound (to Bay Head) may be subject to delays of up to 25 minutes at Point Pleasant Beach and Bay Head due to electrical work:

  • Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6
  • Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13
  • Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27

NOTE: This is in addition to any delays due to work on the Northeast Corridor between Newark and New York.
