Bus Detour for No. 94 in East Orange – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, May 2 at 5PM, South Clinton Stret will travel from Rhode Island and Elmwood avenues due to PSE&G work.   

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 94 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward Union/Linden  will travel from South Clinton Street and Elmwood Avenue, make a right on Elmwood Avenue, left on Halstead Street, left on Rhode Island Avenue, right on South Clinton Street, and then continue the regular route.  
  • Buses traveling toward Bloomfield will travel from South Clinton Street and Rhode Island Avenue, make a left on Rhode Island Avenue, right on Amherst Street, right on Elmwood Avenue, left on South Clinton Street, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
