Bus Detour for No. 815 in Perth Amboy - Sunday, April 13 to Monday, April 14, 2025

Effective Sunday, April 13, from 7AM to Monday, April 14, at 6AM, Route 35 (Convery Boulevard) will be closed between Smith Street and Chevalier Avenue due to road construction. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 815 in Perth Amboy will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward New Brunswick will travel from Smith Street at Convery Boulevard, continue on Smith Street, follow signs to the Garden State Parkway South, merge on the Garden State Parkway South, exit at Chevalier Avenue, make a left on Chevalier Avenue, right on Main Street, and then continue the regular route.
  • Buses traveling toward Woodbridge will travel from Main Street at Chevalier Avenue, merge on Route 9 North, exit at New Brunswick Avenue, make a left on New Brunswick Avenue, right on Convery Boulevard, left on Smith Street, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
