Bus Detour for Nos. 167, 168 & 177 in Dumont – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until further notice, Washington Avenue will be closed between East Madison and Virginia avenues due to utility work. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 167, 168 and 177 will operate on a detour as follows:

  • Buses traveling toward PABT will travel from Washington and Virginia avenues, make a left onto Virginia Avenue, right on Depew Street, right on East Madison Avenue, left on Virginia Avenue, and then continue the regular route.   
  • Buses traveling toward Dumont/Harrington Park will travel from Washington and East Madison avenues, make a right on East Madison Avenue, left onto Depew Street, left onto Virginia Avenue, right onto Washington Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
