Bus Detour for Nos. 507 & 509 in Ocean City – Effective Immediately
Effective immediately and continuing until Wednesday, April 2 at 7AM, 9th Street will be closed between Bay and Asbury avenues due to road work.
During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 507 & 509 will operate on a detour as follows:
- Buses traveling toward Ocean City will travel from 9th Street and Bay Avenue, make a right on Bay Avenue, left on 10th Street, left on Ocean Avenue, right on 9th Street, service Moorlyn Terrace, left on Ocean Avenue, left on 10th Street, and then continue the regular route.
- Buses traveling toward Atlantic City will travel from 10th Street and West Avenue, continue straight onto 10th Street, left on Ocean Avenue, right on 9th Street, service Moorlyn Terrace, continue straight onto 8th Street, left on Bay Avenue, right on 9th Street, and then continue the regular route.
Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
