Bus Detour for Nos. 37 & 107 in Newark – Friday, January 3-Friday, January 31, 2025
Effective immediately and continuing through Friday, January 31 from 8:30AM to 6PM each day, Meeker Avenue will be closed between Elizabeth and Frelinghuysen avenues for PSE&G work. During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 37 and 107 in Newark will operate on a detour as follows:
Buses traveling toward Ivy Hill / South Orange will travel from the Route 22 Exit at Frelinghuysen Avenue, make a right on Frelinghuysen Avenue, left on East Peddie Street, left on Elizabeth Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
Note: Bus stops may be lost during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
