Bus Detour for No. 66 in Hillside – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Tuesday, December 10, Hillside Avenue will be closed between Liberty and Maple avenues due to a gas line instillation. 

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 66 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Newark will travel from Liberty and Hillside avenues, continue on Liberty Avenue, right on Oakland Terrace, right on Maple Avenue, left on Hillside Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  
• Buses traveling toward Union College/Cranford will travel from Hillside and Maple avenues, make a right on Maple Avenue, left on Oakland Terrace, left on Liberty Avenue, and then continue the regular route .        

Bus stops will be lost and minor delays expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.
