Bus Detour for No. 48 in Rahway – Saturday, November 2, 2024

Effective Saturday, November 2, from 8AM until 1PM, West Milton Avenue will be closed between Fulton/Irving streets and Jaques Avenue due to the Liberty Harley Toy Run.  

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 48 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Elizabeth will travel from Jaques and West Emerson avenues, make a right on West Emerson Avenue, left on Fulton Street, right on East Milton Avenue, and then continue the regular route. 
• Buses traveling toward Woodbridge will travel from Irving/Fulton streets and Milton Avenue, continue on Fulton Street, make a right on East Emerson Avenue, left on Jaques Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops will be lost and minor delays expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.
