Bus Detour for No. 48 in Rahway - Saturday, October 26, 2024

Effective Saturday, October 26, from 1PM to 4PM, Irving Street will be closed between Elizabeth Avenue and Milton Avenue for the Halloween Parade.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 48 in Rahway will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling towards Perth Amboy/Woodbridge will travel from Elizabeth Avenue and Main Street, make a left on Main Street, and continue the regular route for Perth Amboy and Woodbridge. For Woodbridge service, make a right on Milton Avenue, and then continue the regular route.  

Bus stops may be lost, and minor delays are expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully and allow for extra travel time.
