Bus Detour for No. 186 in Englewood & Englewood Cliffs – Monday, June 24, 2024

Effective Monday, June 24 at 7AM until Monday, September 30, 2024, East Palisade Avenue will be closed between Summit Street and Woodland Avenue due to long-term road construction.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 186 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward the George Washington Bridge will travel from East Palisade and Woodland avenues, make a left on Woodland Avenue, right on East Clinton Avenue, right on Sylvan Avenue, and then continue the regular route.
• Buses traveling toward Dumont will travel from Sylvan and East Palisade avenues, continue on Sylvan Avenue, left on East Clinton Avenue, left on Woodland Avenue, right on East Palisade, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops will be lost and minor delays expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.
