Bus Detour for Route No. 468 in Carneys Point Township – Effective Immediately

Effective immediately and continuing until Friday, January 31, 2025, at 9PM, bus route no. 468 in Carneys Point Township will not operate on Hawks Bridge Road between Shell and South Pennsville Auburn roads due to road construction.

During this time, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route No. 468 will operate on a detour as follows:

• Buses traveling toward Woodstown will travel from South Pennsville Auburn and Hawks Bridge roads, continue on South Pennsville Auburn Road, U-turn on Pilot Gas Station, continue on South Pennsville Auburn Road, left on Dupont Country Club Road, left on Golfwood Avenue, right on Springfield Avenue, left on Shell Road, and then continue the regular route
• Buses traveling toward Penns Grove will travel from Shell and Hawks Bridge roads, continue on Shell Road, make a right n Springfield Avenue, left on Golfwood Drive, right on Dupont Country Club Drive, right on South Pennsville Auburn Road, U-turn on Pilot Gas Station, continue on South Pennsville Auburn Road, and then continue the regular route.

Bus stops will be lost and delays expected during this detour. Please read the above detour directions carefully, and allow for extra travel time.
