Procurement
Consistent with Governor Murphy's Executive Orders 103 and 302 on COVID-19, NJ TRANSIT is committed to continue procurement operations to the maximum extent practicable. We want to reassure our current partners and future bidders that we are continuing to closely manage purchasing and procurement processes and may make adjustments as necessary due to the ongoing pandemic. NJ TRANSIT will notify prospective bidders of any changes through our Procurement Calendar and BID EXPRESS.
NJ TRANSIT is committed to progressing our projects. We are pleased to share that our staff across NJ TRANSIT has worked tirelessly and creatively to keep the procurement process, and the critical projects those procurements support, progressing, even in the face of a global health crisis. Further, NJ TRANSIT is actively conducting outreach to various disadvantaged and small business concerns in an effort to ensure their maximum participation.
We encourage your firms to submit responses to upcoming Invitations for Bids (IFBs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ's) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for projects of varying sizes advertised on the NJ TRANSIT Procurement Calendar and BID EXPRESS, and to continue to mine the valuable resources offered by the Disadvantaged and Small Business Enterprise communities in your efforts. In addition to the immediate opportunities available on our procurement calendar, a new feature we are providing are links to Upcoming Opportunities for advance planning and partnering purpose in the box above.
