WILLINGBORO PARK/RIDE ADJUSTMENTS PLANNED OVER NEXT FIVE MONTHS

Construction Work Will Require Pickup/Dropoff Changes for NJ TRANSIT, Academy and BurLink Bus Customers

WILLINGBORO, NJ, July 5, 2001 -- Plans to improve the road network adjacent to the Willingboro Park/Ride on Route 130 North in Burlington County will require a temporary relocation of bus pickups and drop-offs at the existing park/ride location.

The changes -- which take effect Saturday, July 7, and will last approximately five months -- will require NJ TRANSIT, Academy and BurLink bus passengers who use the Willingboro Park/Ride to board and exit buses at the south end of the park/ride lot, next to the exit road for Route 130 North.

Bus stop signs and a shelter are being installed at the new location. A concrete walkway will also be installed, linking the bus stop with the park/ride.

The park/ride will only be accessible from Route 130 North (entering and exiting the lot). There will be no vehicular access to the park/ride from Van Sciver or Levitt parkways during construction.

The Willingboro Park/Ride is served by NJ TRANSITs No. 409 Trenton-Willingboro-Philadelphia route, Academy bus service to New York and BurLink buses serving Burlington County.
