NEWARK, NJ - On Sunday, March 9, NJ TRANSIT and Metro-North customers can ride the Pascack Valley Line to the second largest St. Patrick's Day parade in the State of New York, as the Rockland County Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) kick off their 46th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Pearl River, NY.
The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. from the Wyeth Corporation's parking lot, located off of Middletown Road in Pearl River, and will follow a route south on North Middletown Road, then west on Central Avenue to Main Street.
Revelers traveling to the parade from New Jersey can take advantage of the Pascack Valley Line's new weekend service, with trains departing Hoboken Terminal at 10:15 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. arriving at Pearl River Station in time for the parade at 11:15 a.m. and 1:24 p.m., respectively. For the return trip, customers can board trains departing Pearl River at 4:25 p.m. and 6:19 p.m.
Pearl River Station is located on South Main Street near Central Avenue, just a short walk to the parade route.
