NJT BEGINS SUMMER RAIL SERVICE TO MONMOUTH PARK

Customers Can Save $5.50 with Racetrack Package

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT summer rail service to Monmouth Park Racetrack will begin this Saturday, May 9, and operate through September 27, 2015 on weekends and holidays when the track is open for live racing.  Friday rail service begins June 5 and continues through September 4.   

NJ TRANSIT is offering a Monmouth Park package which can save customers $5.50. Simply purchase an NJ TRANSIT round-trip package to Monmouth Park from any NJ TRANSIT rail station, and receive transportation and Grandstand Admission plus an official track program for an additional $1.  Packages are also available for children, senior citizens and customers with disabilities. Tickets are valid on regularly scheduled North Jersey Coast Line trains on Fridays, weekends and holidays when the racetrack is open.

To receive the complimentary Grandstand Admission and an official track program, you must purchase your package from an NJ TRANSIT Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or Ticket Office. This package is not available from train crew personnel.
