NJ TRANSIT POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S ASSISTANCE IN IDENTIFYING MAN WHO DROWNED IN HUDSON RIVER

NEWARK, NJ — The NJ TRANSIT Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a man who drowned in the Hudson River in Hoboken last week.

 

The incident occurred Wednesday, June 15, 2011 shortly before midnight near Hoboken Terminal. 

 

The following is a description of the man:

 

  • Hispanic male
  • Age:  Early 30's
  • Height:  approx. 5’3”
  • Weight:  approx. 165 lbs.

           

The man was wearing a green button-front shirt with a yellow design, black cargo pants, black strap-front shoes, and Figaro-style gold link chain around his neck with a key hanging from it.

 

He was carrying a Republica de Honduras picture I.D. with the name Santos Aguirre Rodriguez, and his last known address is believed to be in Morristown, NJ.
