NEWARK, NJ ¿ NJ TRANSIT will host the third in a series of open houses on plans for a transit-friendly development in the waiting area of the Hamilton Rail Station in Hamilton Township on Saturday, June 17, 2006 from 10 a.m. to noon. The station is located on Sloan Avenue, near Interstate-295.
NJ TRANSIT staff, along with representatives from the development and architecture teams, will be on hand to provide information on the project, outline the benefits of transit-friendly planning and speak one-on-one with attendees to obtain feedback.
The proposed development for NJ TRANSIT¿s 20-acre property at the train station includes retail, residential, office, hotel and parking components designed to create a vibrant downtown community.
Members of the public are invited to attend.
