NJ TRANSIT BEGINS SUMMER RAIL SERVICE TO MONMOUTH PARK

Customers Can Save $5.50 with Monmouth Park Racetrack Package

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT summer racing season rail service to Monmouth Park Racetrack will begin this Saturday, May 10, and operate through September 28, 2014 on weekends and holidays when the track is open for live racing.  Friday rail service begins June 6 and continues through August 29.   

 

NJ TRANSIT is offering a Monmouth Park package which can save customers $5.50 off the cost of transportation and admission. Simply purchase a NJ TRANSIT round-trip package to Monmouth Park from any NJ TRANSIT rail station and receive Grandstand Admission and an official program for $1 plus round-trip train fare. Packages are also available for senior citizens and passengers with disabilities. Tickets are valid on regularly scheduled North Jersey Coast Line trains and connections on Fridays, weekends and holidays when Monmouth Park Racetrack is open.

 

To receive the complimentary Grandstand Admission and official track program, you must purchase your package from a NJ TRANSIT Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) or Ticket Office. This package is not available from train crew personnel. When purchasing your package from a Ticket Vending Machine, choose "Special Promotions" and then select "Monmouth Park Racetrack".
