NJ TRANSIT ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF ‘MUSIC IN MOTION’ CONCERT SERIES WITH SPECIAL GUEST

New Jersey Symphony to Perform Free Live Concert at Hoboken Terminal

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT announces the “Music in Motion” concert series is back with a performance by the Emmy and Grammy Award-winning New Jersey Symphony. The event is free to the public.

New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players will perform as a brass quintet outside Hoboken Terminal on Thursday, September 26th at 4 p.m. This will be the first performance since restarting NJ TRANSIT’s community-based initiative, “Music in Motion.” 

Music in Motion first began as part of NJ TRANSIT’s 25th Anniversary celebration in 2004 but was paused during the pandemic. It is a community-based initiative that showcases local musicians by having them perform in NJ TRANSIT station facilities.
