NJ TRANSIT ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF "MUSIC IN MOTION" CONCERT SERIES

Live musical performances to greet customers at major stations

NEWARK, NJ — Back by popular demand, NJ TRANSIT announces the return of the agency’s Music in Motion concert series set to launch this evening. 

 

Music in Motion is a community-based initiative that allows local musicians to perform in NJ TRANSIT station facilities.  These performing artists are offering their talents while customers get a glimpse of the region’s up-and-coming talent as they traverse major stations and terminals.   

 

Performances are Monday thru Friday beginning Thursday, March 17th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Hoboken Terminal Waiting Room, Secaucus Junction Rotunda, Penn Station New York 7th Avenue Concourse, Union Station and Rahway Station Summer Stage.

 

Entertaining customers this spring-summer are: Daniel Burke, Karen Hardy, Chelsea Carlson, Sal Aversano, Old’s Cool, John Arthur, Rachel Menconi, Rich Casella, PrizeViolet,The Foxfires, The NY Troubadours as well as NJ TRANSIT’s own Mustamirr Hagler and Garrad Perry.
