NJ TRANSIT AND SIX FLAGS OFFER SPECIAL SAVINGS FOR BUS CUSTOMERS

Express bus service begins April 12 from Newark, New York, Camden and Philadelphia

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT and Six Flags are teaming up to make it easy and affordable for thrill-seekers to get to the fun at Six Flags Great Adventure, Safari or Hurricane Harbor.  Families planning a 2014 visit to the park can avoid the hassle and expense of driving by taking advantage of NJ TRANSIT’s discounted travel packages for express bus service. 

Savings are available throughout the 2014 season for bus customers using the No. 308 and No. 318 lines for travel to and from the park.  The No. 308 operates between the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York and Six Flags, with an intermediate stop at Newark Penn Station, and the No. 318 operates between the Philadelphia Greyhound Bus Terminal and Six Flags, with a stop at the Walter Rand Transportation Center in Camden.

NJ TRANSIT customers can save up to $40 by purchasing round-trip bus transportation and park admission together.  Prices and total savings vary based on point of origin and admission package.

Service on the No. 308 will begin on Saturday, April 12 and will operate on all days when the park is open to the general public.  Service on the No. 318 will begin on Saturday, April 12 and will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, with additional Friday service starting on June 27.

NJ TRANSIT also operates local bus service from Freehold on the No. 307 line.  Customers traveling on the No. 307 can also save up to $40 on their admission by showing their bus receipt at guest services when an admission ticket is purchased.
