Event is part of NJ TRANSIT’s ‘Music in Motion’ Concert Series

December 6, 2024

NEWARK, NJ — NJ TRANSIT’s “Music in Motion” concert series continues with a special holiday performance by the Emmy and Grammy Award-winning New Jersey Symphony. The event is free to the public.

New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players will perform holiday classics inside the Newark Penn Station Waiting Room on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, during evening rush hour 4:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Music in Motion first began as part of NJ TRANSIT’s 25th Anniversary celebration in 2004 but was paused during the pandemic. It is a community-based initiative that showcases local musicians by having them perform in NJ TRANSIT station facilities.

The New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players kicked off the return of Music in Motion on September 26, 2024, with a performance in Hoboken Terminal.
