Port Jervis Line: Buses Replace Trains due to Infrastructure Improvements– Beginning Sunday, September 8, 2024

To support infrastructure improvements on the Port Jervis Line, trains will be replaced by buses at all stations from Port Jervis through Sloatsburg, inclusive:

  • From 4AM Sunday, September 8 until 12:30 AM Monday, September 9

  • On weekdays from approximately 9AM until 4:30 PM, beginning Monday, September 9 and continuing until Friday, November 8

  • On weekends from 12:30 AM Saturday until 12:30 AM Monday, beginning Saturday, September 14 and continuing until early Monday, October 7

  • On weekdays, all trains will operate normally between Hoboken and Suffern. 

  • On weekends, local trains will operate normally between Suffern and Hoboken, but there will be no express service.

  • On both weekdays and weekends, customers traveling from/to stations beyond Suffern must transfer between trains and buses at Ramsey Route 17 Station.
