Read All About It! NJ TRANSIT’s FY2021 Annual Report
“While You’ve Been Away, We’ve Been Working Hard for You!”
That’s the theme of the FY2021 NJ TRANSIT Annual Report, reflecting the challenges we all faced during the pandemic, while outlining the work NJ TRANSIT accomplished while many of you have been away.
Fiscal Year 2021, which spanned from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, was a busy year. In addition to enhanced cleaning protocols to protect customers and employees, NJ TRANSIT was busy advancing fleet purchases, station and state-of-good-repair work, safety initiatives, and resiliency and sustainability projects. We also introduced FlexPass to give you more flexible travel options if you have returned to work on a hybrid schedule.
You can also read about new technology rollouts that are enhancing your travel experience, how we work with communities to encourage development around our stations, and President Joe Biden’s visit to our rail maintenance facility in Kearny. And you’ll find personal messages from New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, NJDOT Commissioner & NJ TRANSIT Board Chair Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti, and NJ TRANSIT President & CEO Kevin Corbett as they reflect on the progress made during the year.
