PABT GATE CHANGES

NJ TRANSIT, in collaboration with the Port Authority of NY & NJ, is making some changes to gate locations within the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) effective September 3, 2016.

Working cooperatively with the Port Authority to build upon the 2015 reorganization and consolidation of services within the PABT, NJ TRANSIT will now have access to an increased number of gates during weekday PM peak hours. To take advantage of the opportunity to further enhance service reliability, reduce congestion on platforms, and improve the overall customer experience, selected NJ TRANSIT bus routes will be relocated to new gates. These adjustments will further improve on-time performance and reduce customer queues and wait times within the terminal, especially for weekday PM peak hour departures.
