Atlantic City Rail Line trains operate between Atlantic City, NJ, and Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, with connections to River LINE at Pennsauken Transit Center. NJ TRANSIT provides bus service for many Center City locations including stops along Market Street, Broad Street, and Vine Street.


Philadelphia, Wildwood and Cape May

Express bus service operates during the summer season, between Philadelphia, Wildwood and Cape May. The 316 Bus Route includes a stop on Market Street at 10th Street in Philadelphia, allowing easy connections with SEPTA  Subway (11th Street Station) services for fun, summer day trips to favorite family venues. In addition, the route serves the Gloucester Premium Outlet in Blackwood. Save more than 25% when you buy tickets at the promotional round-trip fare. A round-trip ticket at the promotional fare is $30 between Philadelphia and Wildwood and $33 between Philadelphia and Cape May.

Round-trip excursion tickets must be purchased at Wildwood Terminal, 30th Street Station or using the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App®, and are good for up to 10 days from and including the date of sale. Bus operators are not able to issue these round-trip tickets on the bus. Regularly priced one-way and round-trip tickets are also available and do not have an expiration date.

NOTE: Bus Route 316 operates daily seasonal summer service between Philadelphia, Wildwood, and Cape May, beginning June 25, 2022. Daily year-round service to Wildwood and Cape May is available on Bus Routes 313/315. New timetables will be available approximately two weeks prior to service start.

NJ TRANSIT offers a discount round-trip excursion fare between Philadelphia and Atlantic City for $20.00. Round-trip tickets must be purchased at Atlantic City Bus Terminal or the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. Drivers are not able to issue round-trip tickets on the bus. Tickets are good for up to ten (10) days from and including the date of sale.

Daily, NJ TRANSIT bus lines provide convenient access to commuting and leisure destinations. Service routes west of Philadelphia City Hall provides additional connections to Amtrak and SEPTA service at 30th Street Station and Suburban Station. Bus Route 316 includes a stop at 30th Street Station (at JFK Boulevard) in Philadelphia, allowing easy connections with Amtrak's Keystone Line and SEPTA services for fun, getaway trips to the shore. In addition, this bus offers service at the Gloucester Premium Outlet in Blackwood.

Bus Route 551 stops at the Atlantic City Bus Terminal, allowing easy connections with NJ TRANSIT bus services to many shore destinations in southern New Jersey, including Ventor, Margate, Longport, Brigantine, Ocean City and Sea Isle City.
