REVISED DATE: Bus Route Nos. 83, 165 and 166: Broad Avenue Bridge in Palisades Park will Undergo Renovations - Traffic Shifts to One Lane on South Side of Bridge - August 3, 2012 through November 2013

Revised Date:  Broad Avenue Bridge renovations will begin on Friday, August 3, 2012.

Beginning Friday, August 3 and continuing through November 2013, NJDOT will renovate the Broad Avenue Bridge in Palisades Park.  Customers should expect travel delays at Broad Avenue and Route 46 for the duration of the project.  Please allow for extra travel time. 

At the start of construction, NJ TRANSIT Bus Route Nos. 83, 165 and 166 will be affected as follows:

No. 83:

  • Eastbound near side bus stop on Route 46 ramp at Broad Avenue will be temporarily closed.
  • Customers should use the temporary near side bus stop on Broad Avenue at West Harriet Avenue.

No. 165:

  • Southbound far side bus stop on Broad Avenue at Columbia Avenue will be temporarily closed.
  • Customers should use the temporary near side bus stop on Broad Avenue at West Harriet Avenue.

No. 166:

  • Southbound far side bus stop on Broad Avenue at Columbia Avenue will be temporarily closed.
  • Customers should use the temporary near side bus stop on Broad Avenue at West Harriet Avenue.
